Do I Qualify for the MEMPHIS Plan?

You may be eligible for the MEMPHIS Plan if:
  • Your employer does not offer a health insurance plan
  • You earn less than 200% of the federal poverty line (see table below)
  • You work at least 20 hours per week
  • You are uninsured
  • You have been employed for three months in a row

Note: The income limit does not increase for families that have more than 4 members.

Look Out
If your employer chooses to participate in the Memphis Plan, they must:
  • Agree to pay a minimum of $10 of the employees monthly fee
  • Agree to pass along 100% of the monthly fee to the Memphis Plan
  • Make sure their employees meet the Memphis plan eligibility guidelines
