You may be eligible if you:
- Left Families First within the last 18 months, AND
- Have children under age 13, AND
- Are working 30 hours a week or are working and going to school for a combined total of 40 hours a week, AND
- Earn below a certain income for your family size (see table).
For example, if your family size is three and your income is $2,526
per month or less, you qualify for TCC. A family size of 3 could be a single parent with 2 children or two parents with one child living in
the same home.

If you lose your job while receiving TCC or any transitional benefit and your previous Families First case was closed properly
(not because you were out of compliance or exceeded the time maximum time limit) you are encouraged to reapply for Families First.
